Study and exam-prep tool for radiologic technologists
Xposure helps radiography students and technologists study positioning, prep for the ARRT registry, store technique charts, and work through exposure calculators — all on device, all offline.
Browsing Positioning
Open the Projections tab and tap a body region, then a projection to see its positioning notes and technique specs.
Saving Your Own Technique
On a projection, tap Add Your Technique and enter the kVp and mAs you use. It's saved on your device. Nothing is preloaded, because the right numbers depend on your room.
Taking a Practice Quiz
Open the Learn tab. RAD Science holds the physics topics — atomic structure through digital radiography — and each one runs as its own round.
Using the Formulas Tab
The Formulas tab holds the formulas and calculators: Inverse Square Law, Grid Conversion, Exposure Rules, Dose Reference, Competencies, and the 3D X-Ray Room.
Xposure Pro
The first 5 questions of every quiz are free, along with every projection and every other tool. Xposure Pro unlocks every question and the 3D X-Ray Room, for $4.99 a month with a 3-day free trial, or $49.99 a year (prices vary by country and region). Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
To cancel or change your plan, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you reinstall the app or get a new phone, tap Restore Purchases on the Xposure Pro screen.
Adding a Reference Image
On a projection, tap Add Reference Image. It stays private on your device. Never add images containing patient information.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Everything stays on your device. Xposure has no account and no servers. Deleting the app removes your saved data, so write down anything you want to keep first.
Xposure is an educational study and reference tool for students and technologists. It is not a diagnostic device and is not intended for clinical decision-making or patient care. Always follow your facility's protocols and your supervising radiologist's guidance.
